Postgraduate Program

Upon graduation from high school, some students are not prepared to make a transition to work or college. Be it for academic or social/emotional reasons, the student may want to wait a year before pursuing the next steps at the end of their high school career.

To allow for the continued development of these students, Midwest Academy has created a postgraduate program. Students enroll for the first time or remain at Midwest for a fifth year of high school. Each student’s academic program is designed based upon individual needs and goals. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of the individual student and his or her family. Opportunities may include:

  • College course work
  • Internships with local companies
  • Remediation of skills
  • Entrepreneurial skills
  • Transition services
